My deepest condolences to Larry's family. I first met Larry during the course of my work at Thunder Bay Telephone many years ago as he was our technical contact at the TBPL. I had the opportunity to come to know Larry over the subsequent years as we installed and maintained the Library's first network which interconnected all the satellite sites to Larry's office at the Waverly Library. I have many fond memories of working and collaborating with Larry on the Library's computer network and am a better person for having known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Stan Terhljan

I worked with Larry during his time with TBPL, he was my supervisor in the Cataloguing Department until my retirement. i cherish my "Dewey Decimal lamp" made for me by him. The best word to describe this Westfort boy was that he was a true egalitarian. He was a kind person who always had an empathetic tone to his voice. There never was a bad time to discuss politics and the social state of our country. Cataloguing was a good fit for Larry except for not being able to read all the interesting items that flowed through the department. Larry actively participated in retirement parties, (he was an awesome Rod Stewart). These are just a few of the many memories I have of a very kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed.

My sympathy to you in your loss and grief. I had not remembered, Karletta, from those days at Heath Pool, that it was there you had met Larry.
